School Trip

2nd graders visit Taiwan for  four days where

students learn about Taiwanese culture and interact with students of Shinten High School.

​

School Festival

The school festival is three days long. Students have the sports festival for one day and the cultural festival for two days. While students are preparing and practicing for the event, they all grow closer.

​

​

Cultural festival

 Each first grader class sings two songs in choir for each class. Each 2nd and 3rd grader class performs a drama for the school.

​

Sports Festival

It is usually held at Nagahama Dome, which is close to our school. Before Sports Festival, the students cooperate with classmates to make a big poster. On the day of the event, students participate in a lot of group sports and individual sports. Most of the classes are in competition with each other.  The major events are relay-race, tug-of-war, obstacle race, big-foot race. For the class performance, students choose the song, choreography, and costumes.

~Introduction of lunch box~

 

Japanese students eat lunch boxes during lunch time.

In Maibara high school, 73% students eat lunch boxes and 2% students are made it by their family.
